Welcome Back to Mehl's Mountain Garage.
I know I know! I'm slow on uploading my videos, I'll get better!
This time around I'm working on my 2002 Club Car DS Gas Golf Cart. In another video, I replaced the piston and rings in my cousins 2000.5 Club Car, and in doing so, noticed the restriction in the air box. Considering the fact I've been modifying the crank keyway, advancing the timing, and re-jetting the carb, I figured modifying the air inlet track is the next logical step.
WARNING, you have to be careful in modifying the intake track of the Kawasaki engines, as the carb jetting is very sensitive to change.
So with the warning out of the way, be aware that any airflow changes will likely require changes to the jetting.
Follow me along as I remove the air filter box and modify it, and you can see the results. I definitely think it was an improvement!
Please, if you like the video hit the like, and subscribe for more content! Leave me some comments so I can make the videos better. I'm trying to reach 1000 subscribers and I have been slowly adding subscribers, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
