That made my day. Our range cart won't "shift" to a higher speed, and redlines around 2 mph. The centrifugal clutch doesn't move inwards hardly at all. I'm thinking its all the dirt we've been driving through and perhaps it just needs to be blown out so the weights can move. If that's not it, thanks to you, I know what to do next!

Hopefully, a good cleaning will get it working again. If not, I hope. This vid helps! These clutches do need periodic maintenance to stay performing optimally.

So my 95 ds has the mount welded to the engine sub frame. How do you change that? Looks like take off the leaf spring shackle bolts and slide engine frame and axle back? About 5x more difficult, no wonder no one replaced it. Edit.....I just cut a slit in one side of the urethane cushion and slipped it on, 2 zip ties hold it in place. Saved hours of work

Doesn’t that engine have a PCV system? All supercharged engines definitely need a catch can system and I’ve got one on all my cars. In my opinion an AeroSpace Components or Moroso belt drive crankcase vacuum system would be better than electric one…

It should be either in the fuse/electrical box under the seat on the drivers side, or on the frame rail right next to the box. Those are the two places I've seen them on the gas club cars.

Mehl, How did the Right Stuff hold up after 2 years ? Do you still have the car? I have the same issue. I had to pull the passenger seat and try to get under the carpet. It was full and never dried. There is some sponge rubber under the carpet that soaked up a ton. I'm curious if the Right Stuff held up because it is easier to find than that black sticky goo they used.

I still have the car, and it has help up! It's parked outside and I daily it. The cover doesn't get the direct sun and UV, I'm sure that helped.

I wouldn't use any of that stuff from scamazon. Grt some wire brushed and clean the tubes and nozzles.

I don't disagree, and usually clean the OEM components. But even after cleaning the jet, emulsion tube, neddle and seat, and what even passages I could get a torch tip cleaner in, still a no go. So, a cheap replacement was in order, especially for a tractor with over 500 hrs on it.

They can melt over time and get messed up, worth checking if you're having issues.

@@mehlsmountaingarage Thank you. Connector looks good but the gauge goes up faster than it used to. It only goes up to the 3/8 mark though. Relay seems to work too. I just don't know if I should be concerned or not.

There is only the plug/cover on the passenger side. Not sure what would contribute to the ds leaked, possible the antenna.

Great video! Just changed all 3 of my spindles and this helped a ton. Also convinced me to sharpen my blades instead of buying new ones

So glad it helped, and you are keeping that mower going! Sharpening the blades is good to do periodically to keep the grass cut clean. I sharpen mine once or twice before I bend my blades, as I have alot of dead branches and rocks around my property and normally just run them over since I can't see them sometimes, haha.

What do you use for uv protection? I cleaned the lights on one of our cars last year, the sun/climate is brutal in AZ.

I have used the 3m wipes, though they can leave streaks. I'm trying the meguiars UV spray this time. But to be honest, I usually use a 2K high solids clear.

Sorry for the delay, here is the information I have: 1984 to late 1996: Kawasaki engines w/the 2 part transmission/differential rotate Counterclockwise. 1997 to late 2013: Kawasaki engines w/Unitized transaxles rotate Clockwise. 2014 to present: Subaru engines w/Fuji transaxles rotate Counterclockwise. Hope this helps.

Finished the offset dowels and runout check a few days ago. My brother got the trans in, we have to get the driveshaft now. it'll be running down the road soon. Power Tour 2024 in quickly approaching! We are leaving from South Central PA, so it will be a haul.

Where's the 02 sensor at the top located?

The upstream o2 sensor is in the exhuast manifold (firewall side of the engine) of the 2.2 and 2.4L, not sure of the 2.0. It's pretty easy to get to from underneath the vehicle. The downstream is after the catalytic converter, but before the resonator. Look at this link for a service manual pic, post #3, www.chevyhhr.net/forums/problems-service-repairs-42/o2-sensor-locations-39570/#post621144 Hope this helps.
