Getting My Chow Chow Puppy 🐶🐾

A vlog where I get my Chow Chow puppy, Carter! I show a little haul of what I got for the little puppy and then travel over 8 hours to pick him up!
I seriously cannot get over how TINY and cute he is I’m in LOVE!
I have wanted a dog from such a young age and felt now was the right time in my life to get one. I will give him all the love and attention he needs and I can’t wait to see him grow up.
I have a friend who used the same breeder www.malikinyotachowchows.com so I felt I could trust it would be a healthy puppy that had been looked after and they were amazing to deal with.

True Maintenance is very important. Other then that they are excellent 🐕. And wben they get bigger maintenance is bigger challenge. And mine Chewed my favorite voots a nd my door. But that stoped. He was teething. But i didn't care i love my Chow. When they grow up they stop all that puppy stuf m r e lay back. Still a beautiful breed.😍😍😍

Ohhhh my heart be still your puppy is the exactly looking puppy my Teddy looked like at that age he stayed light blonde and I was the same color hair of course his was shinier than mine but we were twins ,the best dog I ever had I miss him so much I will not go into his passing I will tell u not to use the flea and tick med called Brovecto or any of the meds like that last more than 1 month there is to much poison in the medicine and I'm an ANIMAL groomer and didn't know that would be the reason he is not with me ,u cryed myself to sleep for 8 months every night. I liked purple leash I had for my Teddy the safest I've felt walking around with him I had no fear ,watch out they are very over protective ,mine was idk if he felt my fear and anxiety PTSD that's something that's a definite fact ,but times I was fine a man could not approach me he was fine with ALLLLL children but not men at all only a few of my best friends. The best boy ever get him use to a COMB AND BRUSH AND PLAY WITH HIS PAWS ,I could touch every spot on my dog all of my dogs !!! If u can learn how to do nails I'd highly recommend it!!! Best of love purest love u will ever feel have fun love Meri Pawss....oh big thing I did was make his food when they grew up after puppy stage but to be honest if I had known what he REQUIRED for vitamins as a puppy I would have added that from a natural food store a trusted person who has a great reputation, god forbid I give my puppy anything less or more than my puppy would need ,I feed my dog the Blue buffalo, and my daughter found out that it does cause something with the stomach or liver so I need to call my vet I was so much more comfortable cooking for them don't ever feed them garlic look up what they can have like I'd buy the highest quality of meat and make enough for 1week I had 3 dogs at the time now for the first time I only have 1 dog and I married a fisherman so fish is fresh and I'd add fresh frozen vegetables to there food I felt better giving them homemade food it is not a lot of work at all to make up a batch one night for the week it's just like cooking for about 5 people max to have a nice dinner I'm being honest I will feel better knowing you don't have to worry about if your #2 dogwood will have issues with it I just found this out late last night so I'll call my daughter and the vet to find out what's going on I think she said it produced to much vitamin D ,but dont quote me on any of this food the blue buffalo..ok have fun and happy trails to you it's a love like u will never feel and a trust like no other pure love and puppy breath ohhh lord smell your puppy's breath they should bottle it and sell it lol

When we went to pick up our boy from the breeder, she told us to bring a small blanket from home, when we got there she tossed the blanket into the pen with all the puppies and even the mama. It kept our boy calm and when we got home(3hrs later) just out the blanket where he would sleep. Comfort scent blanket, he would explore a little and return to the blanket for a bit before explore some more.

Fyi he wont sleep on the bed, our chow plots on the floor usually wherever he finds a cold spot! They're fluffy and get hot so will find a cold spot to chill on!🦁

What a cutie! When he first came Carter looked so sad and didn't want to do much he just laid there and even turned his back to you. It was such a shock for him! I am sure he missed his siblings and his mom! But it is amazing how quickly he adjusted and how smart he is! He is already playing fetch and brings the toy back to you and he can already sit on command. Remarkable! I heard chows are one of the most intelligent breeds!

When I went with my dad and brother to fetch my girl chow chow puppy 51 years ago I was so excited. The first thing she did when we opened the front door was rush into the kitchen where mum was making some cheese sandwiches. She was so shocked at this little bundle of fur...a real life teddy bear lookalike, that she dropped a load of cheese on the floor. Little madam darted for it and scoffed a fair bit before we could move her away. I named her Che Che after the famous panda and an abbreviation on the word cheese😂well I was 10. Her first night was agony for me because I just wanted to bring her upto my bedroom. I could hear her crying for her mum and brother. The next morning she was fine. I was always an early riser so my job was to let her out onto the garden. I think chow chow puppies are the most gorgeous looking fluffs. Miss my beautiful girl❤

I've had Chows for over 40 years and can't imagine life without one. Three have been rescues and just amazing. Once they trust you - and you have to earn it- it's a beautiful thing. Will they always obey? Certainly not but your chances improve as time goes by!

Been checking out videos about Dogs for my Daughter and ran across your video. Carter is so adorable. I had a Chow for about 14 years . He name was Spencer , the BEST Dog ever! he loved people due to me socializing him at a early age. Very smart he only would poo and pee in one corner of our backyard. You need to be made aware Chow Chows will ONLY become attached to just "one" person. The more your lady "holds" and touches or connects with the puppy the less it will want anything to do with you, I know as I have had cc's and a wife since 1978. It is possible with cc's it may not want much to do with even her, they are extremely independent of humans. When they growl, LISTEN they are trying to tell you something isn't right for them. Have fun and be proud as those breads are very proud all by themselves. I love Chow Chows.
