Getting my Dream Car | 2009 Audi R8 V8 4.2 w/Gated manual 6 speed

The year has kicked off pretty bad, but there is always some light at the end of the tunnel. I finally the day has come...I got the 2009 Audi R8 V8 with the Gated 6 Speed transmission.

Late congrats! You made the right choice on transmissions 100%! I have a Sepang Blue with the same Tuscan Brown interior but a V10 gated manual and it's my dream car as well. You're right, those that don't know think it's a recent model. At the time(mid 2000's), the design was ahead of its time. It's timeless and still looks absolutely relevant, even in the 2020's. You compare it to the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Lambo didn't age quite as gracefully! The gated manuals, both V8 and V10, are future classics and hold their value. They will be worth double in 10-20 yrs when everything being sold is an EV. Cheers!

The double cab is currently on the back burner. Getting the R8 didn't help, but also looking to build another shop. A project like that needs a lot of room. Kinda hard to work on it when all the other cars on there. I do plan to work on it more though in little spots when I get the metal supports for the bottom as they support the side pieces...so I need them first to build off of.
