Getting My First Tattoo (Seven Hours!) at Silver Ant Tattoo in Hanoi (Trip55.13)

Remember that thing I said on day 1 I was doing later on in the holiday, well this is it. I've thought about getting a tattoo for so long and today I finally do it.
I first thought seriously about getting on in 2019 when researching my forthcoming trip to Vietnam in 2020, but that year was fated wasn't it. But in 2023 it was time, and I focussed on researching tattoo studios in Hanoi which is where we would end our trip.
I was going to get a simple tattoo, just to get it out of my system, but I'm so glad I went bigger and better, I'm delighted with the result.

The tattoo turned out great...how fun were those white highlights though? lol I look forward to the now inevitable full sleeve video in the future.

Thanks, I love it, and it may be joined by others before too long. White highlights? Not sure I had any of those, or do you mean my hair cos I'm an old git? :-)

@@66Trips Once you pop, you can't stop lol. And noo, you have great hair, don't worry lmao. In my experience, usually when doing realism, they put in white ink after all the black and grey. So you think your tattoo is done, but surprise there's more, and it's going in already sore spots lol.

@@TheotherPoolboy you might be right then, for the final bit I had to lay face down so couldn't see, and it's the only time it felt sore.
