I have all these things in the works but 2024 I’m making them truly profitable. 2023 I worked like nonstop and I just want to be able to REST while still making money. New here, but I'm lovin your style! I had a successful Etsy shop for 5 years, let it slide when I took a FT job to help a friend. Have been trying to build it back for a few years now, but like you I have gotten sidetracked by other things and have not been able to set my mind to one thing. I also have to let my health determine too many things (chronic illnesses) but you gave some great advice about creating for yourself, I think that is where I find myself at a crossroads. I want to create something tangible rather than digital, you have inspired me to creative for myself and make digital/pod for others. May we all have success in 2024!!!

2019 was MY year! New business took off better than I imagined with conferences, presentations, finishing first draft of novel. ALL the THINGS. And then shutdown happened and I couldn't pivot fast enough. Everything crashed down and I had to make some hard choices. 2023 I started to see some momentum again but now I know I need to focus on what I do best and go for particular goals - NOT what others think I'm good at. Thanks for being real and sharing your ideas and struggles. It lets the rest of us know were not alone. Here's to 2024!

2024, I want to elevate my jewelry business... getting some higher quality supplies to increase my product capabilities. Also, I'd love to create a couple themed gift boxes and a few more items to add to my shop. I'd also like to work on my digital products more. So I'd say my word/goal of the year is going to be Elevate. I feel like it encompasses a lot of what I want to do. Also..... girl, the finance part. I totally get. I love budgeting in our personal finances.... but man oh man do I hate dealing with business finances and I know they are Nowhere near what you're dealing with. Best of luck!

I'm on a similar path. This year has been a dumpster fire. I'm a bookkeeper during the day (psst if you need help in that department so you can in fact know your money stuff please let me know) and 2022 was a massive year of growth and then things kind of stalled out mid year. And now i'm struggling. I started making soaps about that time also and I LOVE making soaps and I really do want to grow that business but so far its real real slow. So 2024 is about adding 7-10 new bookkeeping clients and growing the soap business so it can support my habit and hopefully buy me a new car.

I feel like I've been drowning since 2020. My VA business got closed because someone connected with an abusive ex found me, and I panicked and vanished off the grid completely. And I really never have gotten back on track, and I don't know what I want to do for a living now. I don't want to do VA work anymore... but what?
