You actually took the time to put in heel blocks on your bulk head in this boat haha 😂 I always want to but rush to paddle the boat too quick

Love the foot rest on the foam block - I'll have to try that. I get numb heels, so maybe that'll take pressure off them. too.
@Senders3 жыл бұрын
Might help with that but I find most people get numb legs if the edge of the seat is pressing into the hamstrings
@cheskybaba48643 жыл бұрын
@@Senders Ok, I'll adjust that and see how it goes . Thanks for the advice!!

I'm feeding off your enthusiasm and looking forward to my next paddle. Would love to have a quiver of kayaks like yourself but mortgage, family and a lack of space/time means one boat, one bike etc. Mustn't grumble though as I have a blast every time I'm in my Ozone. It's narrow profile keeps me on my toes!

Video answered some questions I had as well - thanks man! I’m 190cm ~ 91kg usually hard to fit range in any boat besides a large

I like these videos also. I like that you customize it to fit you, it took me years to do that and it made a big difference.

Any tips on making the heel block, as i tried to make one but cocked it up
@Senders3 жыл бұрын
Mine is pretty basic mate. Cut a square block out and the cut off the sides. If you search a bit for it there’s a guide somewhere on the Pyranha blog

Does your heat gun have a temp setting? Curious how hot you have it set. I need to put stickers on a bunch of my rental kayaks that I’ve been putting off cause i know they don’t usually last long.

So Bren's using the large @70kg & how tall? What should I try @195cm & 115kg? Love the content, keep it up. G
@Senders3 жыл бұрын
75kg at 177cm. At your size it will be a solid, sporty design. Just might be a bit rowdy on pushier water. I use the large at my size because I feel confident on all rivers in it. Whereas the small I really like on easier, lower powered things.
@alessandrogula14013 жыл бұрын
I am 188 cm and 93 kg. I use the Large, but I am not sure it would fit right for you. I would check it with your dealership before buying it
@JustCraft23 жыл бұрын
So you run a large at 77kg. Should I go for a small or medium at 63kg, 181cm?

definitely go small

Hello! Where do you have the seat in your Ozone? Middle or back?
@sticksstones84983 жыл бұрын
One back from center at least... Pretty sure he said that. O I like mine back all the way. Made extra holes to get it where i needed
@Senders3 жыл бұрын
One back from middle🤙
@kaiheltola9213 жыл бұрын
@@Senders Thanks! For me, middle feels best for just freestyle, little bit back feels much better for river running/freeriding/freestyle.
@kevinhill.83 жыл бұрын
I moved my Ozone seat all the way back and it’s so much better for me, especially for tailees, but I’m also at the low end of the medium weight range so ymmv.

You know the new scorch isn't that good because he's still using the ripper.
@Senders3 жыл бұрын
😂 completely different kayak for completely different uses... Look forward to using my scorch when the flow comes and the rivers get reeeeeally rowdy or on multi days or when I don’t feel like being vertical on the river

It will be more of a tell when he’s on something harder and if he is in the scorch, 9RII or the Machno.

Impressive fleet fo surrrre! Slightly off topic question 🙋🏻♂️ but do you ever suffer dead/numb/pins and needly legs in your boat/boats? Are there any ways of fixing such issues? 😁
@Senders3 жыл бұрын
I think that’s normally caused when the edge of the seat presses too hard into your hamstring. Look at adding some foam to the edge or changing how you sit in your seat a little bit
