Just so you know- when cleaning with vinegar and baking soda combined, they cancel each other's effectiveness. so now your chicken sink is not getting disinfected, it's unfortunately just getting washed in basically water. Not many people seem to realize this, so I just wanted to share :)

I was going to write it. Thank you! But I would specify why it doesn't work. Just a little chemistry in pills: baking soda (a base) reacts with vinegar (an acid) producing: carbon dioxide, sodium acetate and water. You can check the full formula on the internet :D. However, baking soda and vinegar is usefull to create volcanos for the kids;)

I think every family has a different dynamic. We don’t know everything in everyone’s lives. It’s hard work being a stay at home mum. I’m a stay at home mum to three, with two in early primary school, and a young toddler, and I still struggle. But there’s also more going on than people see. Ie, I have a disability that really affects every aspect of my life, plus the two at school have disabilities and I suspect the youngest also has disabilities, and she’s currently on a waiting list to be assessed. So yeah, I might complain, and seem exhausted on the outside, and some people would probably say I have it easy being able to stay at home with two of the children in school, but there’s more than meets the eye.

Thank you so much Sarah! Your previous channel has blessed me so much with information and inspiration that helped my daily life (rewatching so many videos now that I’ll be a mama for the first time) and what you created here is absolutely fantastic! I didn’t have any family or friends teach me home making, and how to do anything in the kitchen, so when you invite us over your space and you gently walk us through your routine, I learn so much and feel so inspired to bless my family in my own ways, and with your useful tips. Hi Sarah! I loved your tips, one thing I wanted to point out is doing some research on mixing baking powder and vinegar. Chemically speaking these cancel each other out to become neutralized mixture as one is acid and the other is base. I find scrubbing the sink with baking soda and after rinsing with water then(if needed to remove lime scale) spraying the vinegar and wiping that too. They are great cleaners on their own, but not together!

You are not weird at all about germs! So needed. The thing my mom taught me was to always rinse off your chicken pieces or steaks or pork peices in cold water to get rid of the germs. Obviously not ground beef. It would fall apart! But just saying, one lady she knew would just take them out of the packaging without washing them, but then she got sick from not washing them. Because even if one thinks the meat is prepared to be cooked, that meat is sitting in its own juices and blood and those germs are accumulating. Easy to rinse. One must just have to sanitize the sink and tools just like you are doing. So glad you are back, Sarah! I love your videos! And that was another great one to begin with!💖🙏🏻🌺
