Getting my MT07 re-mapped at P3 Tuning.

Last Saturday I took my 2015 MT07 to P3 Tuning in Liverpool to have my ECU custom flashed.
You might think this video is quite long but the whole process took around 6 hours there is a lot of fine tuning and a lot of runs on the dyno to get it right so I wanted to show a few different runs rather than just one or two as that's just not realistic.
My MT has a full system Titanium Akrapovic, when we took it in it had 66BHP at the rear wheel after the process we were getting pretty much 71BHP again at the rear wheel.
The guys were brilliant with how they explained everything and have transformed my bike to get the most out of it!
I highly recommend P3 Tuning and ECU flashing, you don't know what you are missing out on!

What sort of torque gains did you get through the rev range? Would have been good to see a graph of before and after showing the torque curve. I think the MT07 a great bike, I’ve ridden one for a few days out and was impressed. How about some suspension upgrades?

Might take me BMW R100 up to my mates dyno for a laugh haha. Mapping my car gave it an extra 60hp and 128 ft lbs of torque (yay4turbo)! It's all about the area under the graph though. The car is unbelievable to drive now :D

On the MT07/XSR700 the stock exhaust comes off. You have to buy a full system for it

ive had mine run into a dyno too.. you dont notice a HP boost, but the engine lives up _alot_ . a standard MT 07 just feels really choked and restrained compared to..

Would you say fuel consumption is better after the ECU tune? I have the full Akra Ti system with no db, and i feel like it just drinks fuel like a mf :(

The stock motorcycle is way too lean .. Government regulations for good emissions is the reason... Also stock timing is conservative.. If you add a little more fuel and a little more timing you can gain power , drivability and even better MPG. If can recall what I read about the FZ-07 in the USA the power is restricted only in 1st and second gears.. I still want to get the learn as you ride Tuner for my bike.. I sure would like to see your base line power .. I guess the charts had before and after with gains at all RPM and 4 HP on Top you can fell 4 HP on a 66 HP bike.. They call it active tune .. you can see the charts of what is stock and you can change your parameters with a lap top if I can recall how it works ftecu.com/shop/yamaha-active-tune-kit/ There are dealers for this brand in the UK .. also you can plug the quick shifter into the above shifter for $240 more

got my FZ1 done there just over a month back, great bike now! got 140bhp out of it for an 07 model with 27k miles on it so quite impressed! I on;y gained 4bhp out of mine, but you're totally right! it's how the bike feels in general especially from closed to open throttle there is no lag or hesitation and each gear change and acceleration is so much smoother (y) kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2rNY5pjpZykh5o
