I remember feeling the same thing. I am doing my training in Oregon and the fires caused a lot of smoke that I was missing the mountains. Just passed instrument and on the commercial and the smoke is finally gone. Happy to see mountains and look out the windows again. Keep these videos coming!

Hey Emilie, It's really great watching you getting back into the saddle. Sorry to hear about the forest fires, Lets hope they don't cause you too much troubles. Here in Australia, we were just starting to get back in the swing when this new covid strain struck so no flying for me as yet. My 15 yr old son spent the school holidays here in Queensland with me ( he lives with his mum in Victoria ) and we had a lot of fun ( He still squeels when he catches a fish and I refuse to get it off the hook for him). He spent an extra 10 days up here waiting for the covid issues to stabilize and I sorted out a travel permit plus his flight. When We drove to Sunshine Coast Airport, I was amazed at the lack of passengers. My sons flight to Melbourne Tullamarine had a total of 31 passengers in a 737 - 800 AND another flight heading to Sydney ( New South Wales is now in another lockdown ) had a total of 7 passengers on another 737-800. Queensland's borders to New South Wales are closed hence very few passengers. So, it is really great to see that old confidence returning to you and watching how pumped you are at getting your wings back, We can all see how happy you are and we are all just as excited and happy for you too. Oh yes, remember the golden rule : Take offs are optional, Landings are compulsory.
