It's time to head off the Leeds & Liverpool Canal on our English Narrowboat Home, tackling a swing bridge, heading over a little known aqueduct and picking up the car. Hello You Three - greetings from Poland I think that this ranks as one of your very best vlogs. Being just you is wonderful. Listening to your banter, your laughter and smiles and sense of humour puts a huge smile on my face and a lot of sunshine into my life. The drone shots this week were superb. Camera work and commentary, brilliant. The sounds of nature as we cruised along were lovely, broken only by that blast of your horn approaching bridge number 40. Definitely an under rated canal for it’s scenery, although it is currently being plagued by water shortages and closures 😬. Hilarious at the 9 something mark. Anthony how long have you felt this way? In a long term relationship we do find ways to tune each other out when need be.LOL. Hey you 3. This was a beautiful vlog with some great drone footage of the stunning area you were in. Parbald is really nice. I love seeing the canalside cottages and houses. Hi there. it was very interesting to see the bits of appley Bridge and parbold as I usually only see them from the train. We had to detour through Worsley the other week on the way to the Trafford centre so had a good look at the narrowboats on the canal- which was looking very orange, even saw a kingfisher near the ship canal bridge too..best wishes to you both and Dexter

We said the same when we came through Manchester. I was born in Manchester but totally different from the canals. Love the canal bear Worsley. It is very orange! Happy Saturday! 🥰 You were in a lovely area for this video. Parbold does look like an idyllic place. I hope where you are today is just as nice! The heat broke here and I am relishing 72 degrees after several days of being "too hot". Does anyone know the point of that concrete fish? It seems so random. I was taken aback by the dead cat reference. 😦 I had no idea that's what a microphone muff was called. 🙂 As always a lovely vlog. Keeping cool in a steel tube with no AC would be much harder. 😎 I just stay inside with the AC. I really like random things like that fish. I know there has to be a story somewhere back in the past. It makes me curious 😊 I guess I can see why they might call it a dead cat but it was a surprise to hear it. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend and keep as cool as you can. ❤️

Lovely video, it’s a really beautiful part of the canal. Had the grandkids full time this past week as my daughter had to travel for work…..I’m tired out and my knees are not happy so I’ve settled in for a soothing crafty weekend and listening to audiobooks while I work. Tai is doing well, I can’t believe he’s come back from being so sick, we thought he would not make it through the night for a week when it was at its worst. He’s defied all odds and though he’s still gaining back weight slowly he is🤞. Dexter is looking like he’s enjoying his summer 🥰. I'd have a small coffee machine just inside the back doors, at the highest position, so you could make a coffee while cruising single handled and maybe a mini fridge somewhere on the back deck too. Hi "Yapping a lot", I like a bit of Sushy" and "Dexter-Dog". What a beautiful and relaxing Vlog. You two were on top form talking to each other. The banter was so funny, and is always so much fun to listen to. Funny about Anthony taking the Chimney off going under a bridge (a few years ago), they say people never forget!!!!! Beautiful scenic cruise this week. Dexter-Dog looked happy walking with Paul, but Paul may have been walking a bit too fast for Dexter's liking? When you were cruising with a sharp turn to port coming up, I wondered if Anthony would sound his horn, and the very next thing, ever so professional, Anthony sounded the boat's horn to alert any oncoming boats. Well done Anthony. Coffee and Cake to end the cruise, well you can't beat that. A really enjoyable and well edited Vlog. Have a great week. Take Care.

Lol. Those names really do suit 😂. I definitely remember taking the chimney off. We hadn’t been out for more than an hour 😂. Thankfully, I would like to think my helmsman skills have improved a little. I walk even faster than Paul who struggles to keep up(even though my legs are half the size 😂). Hey Tom. We were blown away by how friendly everyone was with us. We were made to feel really welcome and had the best weekend. I love my a Brompton. It is a little uncomfortable on the towpath but I stand up when I see a huge root or something. I did initially get the Evolt for the tyre reason but I found it heavy and it didn’t fold down small enough to get it inside the boat. Wouldn’t be without the Brompton and made all the better with the Swytch kit. Hope you are enjoying this sunny weather ❤️
