Haha, 3 days ago I got into this problem. At first I got angry and panicked and left out walking, but I came back after I calmed down and I started to think and simulate using my hands and I managed to get out slowly, after getting out of the car a few times to check if I am not hitting the near cars. Without seeing this video I figured it out using my hands only. I drove back straight, got really close to the car on my left, steered left and back, then front and right and so on until I got out. I think the key is to remain calm and move slow and think a lot of how to get out. At first I thought I would remain in that tight park spot forever lol

It's my first time parking in a mall park and I was parked the exact same way on the video because we had to put groceries in the trunk. When we were about to go a car was waiting behind and the space got a bit narrow and it stressed the hell out of me trying to get out lol.

If the cars are behind you like this and one on both sides of your spot it makes it difficult to reverse park also.

Im glad I found this video. Im parking in one parking lot where when the spaces are 0, everyone starts to park in the middle (reverse) between the cars like in this video. I had really hard times getting out and I'm glad this is the only video in the youtube showing such situations. Can you also show how to park on that spot and also how will you getting out with the front of the car? It should be easier?

This is dumb. Just exhaust all the space you have going backwards in a straight line first, then just turn to the right going forwards then reverse turning to the left...and keep repeating until you're out. Who cares if anyone is waiting for you to hurry up. Just ignore them. It's better to piss people off than pay thousands in damages.

I have a problem exiting a parking space with cars parked in the middle of the parking driveway, a regular thing in crowded parking lots in my neighbourhood. People park behind each other in the middle of the street so there is one car width room left on each side for cars to pass. But not enough room to exit when your car is at 90° angle. Literarly half the space the gray car had behind him to exit.
