Appreciate your authenticity. It's not all smooth roads, downhill & tailwinds.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to film and share, really appreciate it! I've watched hundreds of GDMBR videos and the landscapes filmed are now pretty familiar. What I really appreciate however are the personal stories of how you feel on the good and - especially - the rough, days. It must be the hardest time to film but you make the effort to record it, so a huge Thank You. They are the sections that make each journey and story unique and special. Really enjoying your videos.

Hi, thx so much for your videos. They are very good and your rambling is fine too. I saw lots of GDMBR videos and yours are among the best ones cause they feel very personal and authentic. What might seem random to you can be very interesting to others (like details of accommodations, food, problems with the equipment, meeting other people, etc.). The way you were talking to the cow reminded me a bit of the great and very much missed bike tourer Iohan. All the very best to you from Germany and keep up your strength and great work. Thx again.

Happy to see your second installment drop. As you know, it is all a journey…be it on the bike or developing your skills as a videographer. You are doing great and looking forward to future installments. Peace.

I'm from sheffield in the u.k. im hoping to do this route in the next year or so, so this is brilliant prep, thanks. I'm quite outgoing but still felt the lonely / on your own type feeling when i went to Thailand for a month years back. It think its natural and seemed to ease after a couple of weeks. Even seasoned travellers seem to feel a bit odd when they start a new adventure. I think id like to do this type of thing with someone ideally but also dont want to hang about waiting for that opportunity if it doesnt come along. I certainly get what you are feeling. Take care and enjoy the moment. Warm reagrds. U.k.

I agree in the beginning of any new adventure its always an adjustment period, but you do get used to it over time. All part of the journey.

You're getting it done! I did the ride this summer (2024), late August and September. I must have passed through Ovando shortly after you as that section to Lincoln had just reopened. In fact, we probably passed you at some point earlier. It's fun to see the same places through a different pair of eyes. Doing it solo would be extra challenging - especially when it comes to loneliness and social interaction.

Good chance we did cross pass along the way. It was tough doing it solo even for an introvert like me, but I got use to it and also meet more people along the way
