If you need any more garden recommendations!!! When I was younger I always loved Highdown gardens in Littlehampton. I’ve not been in ages but I still remember my grandad rocket launching his car up the hill to get to it! And my brother and I would pretend the huge trees were houses, using sticks as brooms and wands 😂. Always a lovely place for a picnic too!!

Leonardslee was my favorite gardens when I was growing up, it's made me weirdly emotional seeing it open again (it was closed between 2010 - 2019 which is probably partly why you hadn't been before).
