Hey Jay, I just got my LLC and buisness license and a quick background history before I ask for a tiny bit of help on the buisness side of things...I have been a garbage truck driver for about 3 year with class A, doubles/tripples, tankers etc. I have been talking to a few local owner operators with dump trucks and they have convinced me to get into the business and they can try to help me out also it is different at the specific place where I live where there isn't really a broker its just the quarry that does it them selfs. Now from my understanding it's $10 a ton, or owner operators charge a $165/hr rate. I say this because they say you technically get paid less with hourly but not jave to worry about trying to do 6 to 7 loads a day just so they can ends meet only because business snows down during winter because being paid by the ton during winter doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep up if you are only doing 2 loads a day. Anyways the whole reason for this is because I don't have deeps pockets for down payment on a truck weather it's a decent price or a brand new one so my bank says to start with a SBA loan so that way I can have buisness credit for fuel and stuff til I start making money. The things is should I feel out paperwork for $10 a ton or $165/hr or is there a better suggestion on how to approach SBA loan to guarantee me enough for a truck like a super dump or a truck with a pup with enough money to survive and enough for overhead cost
