Hi Jim! Haley seems to be looking better and better each video. Question: A few episodes back you and other detectorists were hunting a beach with lots of silver coins showing up. What happened with that beach? Did it get over-hunted? For the wydi, my guess this week is aluminum foil.

The silver coins were at Sunset Beach after a huge south swell. The Beach changes everyday, if you do not hit the area during or directly after the swells then you miss the opportunity. great answer, Thank you! 😎👍

I think it's a nickel. Congrats on the gold ring! I just had a patch of beach like yours, in a cut with lots of black sand and almost everything was showing up in the 90's (dimes and quarters too). Go figure. Does increasing iron bias help? There wasn't a lot of junk....just inaccurate readings.

Increase of Iron bias can help but I think Fe6 is the optimal bias setting for most all beaches with black sands. Too high of setting and you will miss nickels and that means you will miss small gold too! great answer, Thank you! 😎👍
