I am 17 weeks pregnant now, just discover that i have this fibroid at my 1st scan i also have a endometrial cyst. My OB was surprise and told me that i was very lucky to conceive. I don't want to believe that it can start a pregnancy and may not continue and end up miscarriage. Just got married last May 29 and blessed to get pregnant after a month, and i am 33 years old, not young 😅. You are safe dear. Don't worry, you'll carry to term. I was in your shoes last year. Got marriage same age as you, conceived immediately after my wedding (I suspect that it happened the wedding night, lol), got diagnosed with multiple fibroids, had unusual abdominal pain and discomforts at 16 weeks, got rushed to the hospital and after taking the prescribed medication, I felt better later the same day (was told that it was fibroid shrinkage due to the pregnancy), continued my job until 39 weeks and 1 day, and got booked for an elective CS the next day following my antenatal visit unplanned, and to the glory of God, my son came out full of perfection!!! CS incision healed within a week (though not fully as it was a gradual process) and I was able to get on my feet in a very short time. This video was helpful. I didn't know anything before...I have over 7 fibroids. I got the first one when I was about 18 and know it because I recently just went for a scan and the doctor told me from the size of my fibroids they have been there for almost 10 years. I have never had any effects till now & even today.. I am 28 years old now & and right now I am having so much abdominal pain that is worrying me..at first I thought it was because of my periods but the periods are almost done but the usually half a day pain is just increasing for 4 days straight now...en it doesn't feel like period cramps it feels like little wild puppies bouncing and biting all around each one of those 7+ fibroids. The pain is too much & non stop. I cant sit, can't lie down, can't walk around that is why i came looking online.... someone please help me..just comment maybe now.. please, please, pleeeease🙏

I think I have fibroids😢 I've dealt with heavy periods for years and have been struggling to get pregnant for years. My periods last almost 7 days. Sometimes I get it twice a month or I skip a month. Never had a regular period.

I would have never thought I had fibroids. I have a long period & bad cramps but was told it was normal when I was younger. Now as a adult within the last 2 years my cycle has lightened up BUT finally found out (while pregnant) that I have huge ones just hanging out 😮‍💨😮‍💨. Sadly we lost our baby but now know what we have to do moving forward. I encourage you to go get looked at for fibroids if you haven't yet. That way you know what you need to do for pregnancy & your overall health.

Normal doses, and yes, prenatal vitamins are equally advised. I'm not a trained medical personnel, but in my time, I took Safepreg (after months of taking Folic acid, Ferrous, Calcium, Bcomplex - was told that Safepreg contained the aforementioned prenatal medications and supplements) and fruits regularly... Please consult your doctor for a more informed advice.

You’d have to talk to your own obgyn about your options. There are a lot of options available for women with fibroids. Not all of them will work for everyone though. One procedure you could bring up with your doctor is a UFE, uterine fibroid emobilization. That’s where they put you under anesthesia and use a tool that goes up through the arteries and veins. Then the tumor is injected with a substance that stops the blood flow going to the fibroid. Again, that may or may not be an option that will work for you. But you have to talk to your own doctor as legally and ethically speaking, a doctor in a KZbin video cannot give you any definitive anything unless you’re patient. And even then they can’t do it on the internet.
