This was inspirational, up to the point where you mentioned that publishers will be reluctant to take on a self-pubbed book that hasn't already been a runaway success. If I had a book that was selling in the thousands on Amazon, why on Earth would I even consider handing those profits to a trad publisher? Ego? Regardless, I found this video very helpful and will probably rewatch it at least once.

I now wished I would have entered the writing contest when I had my story going. It would have been like getting my toe's wet. I was told to keep writing so I turned it/ am trying to turn it into a novel. This is a first for me and I believe I'm almost done with this one. I say that because I want to write more. I may just check out Reedsy Prompts and give the contest another try. This KZbin visit for me was good. Thank you.
