For 15 years I felt horrible about my skin because I had deep acne scars. I hated my skin so much that is caused me to be depressed for a very long time. I found Alisha and you and finally somebody with the same kind of skin texture as mine. Now I know that we are all beautiful regardless of what are skin looks like. Our skin does not define us. And if somebody does not want us or does not find us attractive because of our skin then that is their problem not ours.

I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis. I usually only feel the need to wear it on the weekend. I’ve become more confident in my skin since I found the right products for me. Took me a little bit to love my skin and the way I looked without makeup but I truly love the way I am without it. 💙

I don't normally comment on videos but I had to comment on this. I just admire you for sharing that makeup isn't necessary. I used to feel like I couldn't go anywhere without makeup and I hated that. At the end of last year I had really cut back on my usage of makeup. I did it to build confidence and comfort with my face and skin. I also wanted to take better care of my skin. I then made one of my new year's resolutions to not wear any makeup for 90 days and I have never been more confident. I think it is amazing you push that. Thank you🤍🤍

Ash I’m 49 and I’ve always had a love hate relationship w-makeup. I love skincare and love what makeup is... but just not on me. Since the age of 30, I only wear concealer and sometimes mascara. I’m just very comfortable in my own skin. Hopefully you’ve realized the same! Love you & your beauty

I feel you on the no foundation wearing! I think I've gone foundation-free for at least 2 1/2 years. I do still wear concealer but just under my eyes and on pimples here and there but it's so freeing not to wear foundation. I don't really care if people see me with no makeup on I feel like that's when I feel the most confident.
