the splashplate was much more simple to spread slurry, no pipes blocking or no need to have excessive water in slurry either

They actually don't block very often with us but depends what you're spreading. Once you keep emptying the stone traps it's grand. A lot more efficient use out of the slurry using the LESS equipment do
