Dang, nice work with the property. My wife would love to have 1/10th of those sunflowers in our backyard. Nicely done.

The place looks awesome! If y’all wasn’t trying to grow anything it would rain every other day.. It’s how it goes.. I get super frustrated sometimes with Mother Nature..

@@dannymcnally6211 yes indeed. We’ve got a patch of sweet corn going too, ended up having to carry 5 gallon buckets of water to it twice a week for about a month. Saved most of it, but lost three or four rows on the outside edges. This is experiment year, figure out what we’re doing and hopefully it will be easier next time around !

If I was a deer, my mouth would be watering walking into that field. There is a lot of groceries in the woods right now so food plots are only marginally attractive to deer for now. I have decent trail cam activity for doe's where I am hunting this year, but the more mature bucks have not showed up. Was not able to hunt this property last year, but year before I had at least four or five 3 1/2 year olds on camera in velvet this time of year. Not sure why they are not patterning here yet. Part of the farm behind this hunting parcel sold to a developer and I am afraid the activity over on that property may have caused more mature deer to move to other areas. We shall see.
