I love your drive Mr Pete, you have it down to a science doing things alone!! I love the 5 bale paper note process. One of the hardest things I struggle with...keeping count 🤣🤦🏼. 68 and can't lift with my left. Lived in the desert in the 70s. Always had to buy Alfalfa for my livestock. Kept me healthy back then. Kinda miss it but not much. What I miss is getting up and doing chores and then going riding for a couple hours. Now I live in an an apartment and can't even own a dog.

Yup, hard work those little bales, I did them as a young lad growing up on a farm but back then as a young one looking for a $ you did what you had to for 1dollar and a bit a day during school summer holidays. Now 84 so it didn't harm me that much LOL.

120, nice! We are wondering if you've ever last count, and what you did about it?

Thanks Adam! I started using notes from the beginning so I wouldn't have to worry about loosing count. If need be you can generally figure out how many bales are in each layer of bales (this load is six layers high) and come up with a total that's pretty close.

That’s a fine load of hay. We count off 10 and mark it similar as you do, else someone is getting shorted, us or the customer… 🤨
