Lovely example. If you plan on restomods, I'd keep it simple. Engine swaps require a lot of work. Not to mention, they tend to get stalled and the car ultimately getting sent to the breakers. I'd just get it running and driving and just enjoy it as is, at least for now. Btw, is the bonnet a different color red or is that just angles and lighting?

It is a different colour. Had a painter say they'd match the colour. Since then I've had a spectrometer match it properly. On the list to try and do my self.this summer!

gt6 is a car you keep. it's too rare these days and appreciating like a wounded animal.

Hey , New subscriber liking the GT6 and the Mini projects land rover a bit out of my budget and been known to be a bit of an money pit...Hopefully it works out better for U.. Looking forward to what U share in future...☺☺

The GT6 and Mini are definitely a more wallet-friendly choice, but the Land Rover is a whole different financial commitment! Fingers crossed it doesn't drain my bank account too much.

For your overheating issue take a look at silting up of the water channels in the block. Locate the drain tap on the drivers side of the block. Unscrew it and poke around the hole with stiff wire, it's notorious for getting blocked there, coolant can sit and not circulate for years. And check you have the correct thermostat. Please don't restomod though, just get her running as she is. Good luck!
