I’m fortunate in that my parents taught me to be super paranoid about the internet...and also to have a good antivirus software. So I rarely poke around shady websites, and on the occasions where I do I’m extra cautious. My one amusing story is that there was one time where my sister accidentally downloaded a virus onto the family computer, but because it didn’t activate right away I ended up getting blamed for it, and I had no idea what really happened until my sister confessed years later.
