Btw if you want to find the tempo of a song in FL. You can just rightclick the tempo and then select tap. Then you can tap along to the beat and find the right tempo. Im not sure if this is a feature in older versions of FL but its much easier than to go on a website.

Twike this is true, I just found that sometimes it’s not always correct for me. Im just so cautious when it comes to finding the right tempo since it will make or break the effects added in the song.

Videos like these discourage me because I just bought signature FL studio and then I look at all these tutorials and NOBODY uses stock plugins. I really don't want to have to buy more plugins after spending 300 on a DAW. Why doesn't anybody actually use the stock plugins. Are purchased VSTs really that much better? Or are stock Plugins really THAT bad?

the stock plugins are underrated and they rarely give u any latency issues, compared to performance heavy 3rd party plugins

If you know how to use the plugins then it doesn't matter. FL Studio now has some hidden plugins in FL Studio 20 if you load up patcher then go through its presets you'll find a ton of new plugins

Speaking of Dre could be a couple of things..is there anything on the master channel? Is your interface driver properly set up? Audio Technica mics tend to increase high frequencies in your vocals. You could just be hearing their “EQ’d” sound.
