You are a great teacher! When I first watched your video I was a complete beginner and your simple lesson taught me all the basics of Tinkercad, my first experience with 3D design, in very short order. Building the wrench was such a practical way to teach us and you did it so patiently...FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS. You will make a GREAT teacher if you choose to follow that line.

You are a GREAT TEACHER. You talk so clearly and you allow me to comprehend what you are doing. I know nothing about 3D printing but want to learn. Thankyou. I just subscribed

Excellent tutorial for newbies. I used a cube to add the cutouts to the ring (16x16, rotate 0, rotate 22.5, rotate 45, and rotate 67.5).

I can feel the instructor's enthusiasm in his voice, and can't wait to try the software! It seems very intuitive and I assume even more complex functionality will be added as time goes on; the available solid shapes are a great start and next the program could recognize that we're making a tool, or a cup, and obviate the need for some of the intermediate steps. It'll be the engineering horsepower that "regular" inventors need.

You, sir, is a very, very, good instructor. Being an old school (very old it seems) trained mechanic in the 1980’s I’m trained in mechanical drawing using rulers and pens on paper and doing my calculations whit a slide rule and a Texas instrument pocket calculator. Now I take the next step in to 3d-printing and 3d design, so this is/are/was tremendously helpful to a Troglodyte like me🤓🇸🇪 PS: keep the nerd factor on at least an eighth.

Great instructor and really easy to understand especially a 3d noob here.

You can also type the dimensions you want because manually dragging to a particular dimension can be difficult, especially when you need to use decimals. Just click on the number box.
