We have a golf cart sitting that has 4+ battery’s that cost over 400+ a piece oem; and this actually will help because for some reason every once in while the post short and melt away or down into the battery(has happened twice) but my dad hasn’t figured a way to repair without replacing the whole battery this could aid in my case🙏

My 2017 tacoma never had any issues with the battery in the 6 years I owned it. It went through the Texas ice storms, plenty of sweltering Texas summers, and nothing. I traded it in for a new f150 and it's already sending me notifications on my phone to take it for longer drives to recharge the battery and that remote functions are disabled. Nothing was ever disabled, so I'm not sure if it's just a faulty notification or what, but the point still stands. Love that 5.0 anyway.

Да, со временем стартер будет крутить всё хуже и хуже(изза такого ремонта клеммы). По неопытности могут поменять стартер, ничего не изменится. . Поменяют аккумулятор и всё будет ничтяк😊

You can actually melt the base of the terminal and then melt a lead stick on top of it using a torch instead of using the screws which are as good conductors.

I did that on elcaminos battery when i was 18. My granpa told me what to do after i broke the post on my battery. So i used my torch and neighbors lead he used for bullets and a brass ring to rebuld the post. Now it wasnt that clean at first. And I had to clean it up, but I got it to where you couldnt tell it wasnt the original.

Gotta laugh at all these "Experienced people" saying this is bogus or have never seen a need for this. ANYONE that has an electric winch, battery powered trailer hoist, or anything that feeds to the battery outside of direct ignition power has at least once melted the negative post on a battery. I have done this probably 20 times winching someone out of a snowdrift and overheating a motor solenoid on the winch and causing a backsurge to the battery. I have used a 9/16 lag bolt into the heart of the negative stump and wrapped the cable around it. Melting lead for a new post is a cool idea. Actual men that have actually worked know this can happen and appreciate this idea.

Amazing with finish product the battery post base was nice and flat with top of the post rounded. Do know these post posts can be removed counter clockwise to be replaced with new post. Not supposed to puncture a car battery in any way even drilling. OP just replaced the post with new one.
