As someone who is just getting into high powered rockets I gotta say there is just so much information available it was a little hard figuring out where to get started. So good idea for a video series I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future videos.

I'm really interested in the hobby and I appreciate your effort in giving good information. There is one thing though, perhaps it's my 65 yrs. on this 🌏planet but I couldn't watch but for a few minutes. Why ? because my right ear was blasted by the music while your narration was on the left ear and too quiet. Switch things around ie. quieter music, louder speaking voice, and blend the two channels, rather than distinct audio separation, just an amateur mistake.

Hi.. Seems like exactly what I wanted really really thank you. (But in my country I cant find or buy rocket motor or rocket kit/model rocket and exporting them is banned, what can I do in my case)
@PulsarPropulsionLab
@PulsarPropulsionLab 2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm not sure what country you're from, but I would look around and see if you can find a local rocketry club in your area -- they would know best about your local rules and regulations, along with where to get rocket motors. If you can't find a kit, it is also possible to scratch build. It's a bit harder as a beginner to do but it's rewarding and is an option. On the other hand, in some countries rocketry is not really a viable hobby to pursue -- and this may be the case for you. If there are any rocketry clubs in your country that is a good sign that it is possible to do. Best of luck and clear skies -- I hope you're able to get into the hobby!

Also making rocket fuel isn't dangerous if you're not using open flame, and you're not going higher than medium heat. That's IF you're making it into a liquid. Most of the time all you need is 2 powder ingredients, such as Potassium Nitrate and Powdered sugar.
@PulsarPropulsionLab
@PulsarPropulsionLab Жыл бұрын
It absolutely is dangerous any time you are working with a pressurized vessel. Even if you do not burn yourself (a relatively minor concern) you are still at great risk of having shrapnel from what are basically pipe bombs that most beginners make with sugar motors. Please be safe and responsible.
@WNActivist88
@WNActivist88 Жыл бұрын
@@PulsarPropulsionLab Who makes rocket fuel inside of a pressurized vessel? Literally Potassium Nitrate and Sugar can be turned into a liquid on medium heat, plenty of people do it with no issues. I don't think you've properly done your research and are just fear mongering as usual.

@@PulsarPropulsionLab Your little rocket motor you buy can go off on you without notice. Common rifle cartridges explode constantly, there's even a recall on some 308 ammunition made in Turkey. The fact is you're a coward, that's why you are stuck using stuff made by companies.
