Getting Started with Asana - Tutorial for Beginners

Why is there not an option to create folders to put your projects or to do lists into? This seems pretty important once you get a ton of projects, you need some way to organize them to find stuff quicker. Did they seriously leave out this crucial feature? Is there any other to do list programs that have an option to put your projects or to do lists into folders?

@@PMPexpert That's just basically a spreadsheet huh? I guess you could do it in a spreadsheet, I just like how in Asana when you check tasks off of your to do list they disappear.

@@DaLeSy. it is more like MS Project with built in features for predecessor / successor tasks that automatically changes the dates when a task is running late or going to be completed sooner than planned. There are also different views for Smartsheet projects: Card, Grid, and Gantt. You can filter the project schedule so that tasks disappear or get marked with a line through them when marked as complete. It all depends on what tool is best for your team regarding skill sets and culture. As long as you are aligned on how/when to make updates, that is key! Best of luck.
