I like the tutorial but for stuff like barrels in seed stockpiles. It’s more of a favor if you just surmise why it’s important to set the count to zero rather than saying we’ll thank you later.

Good tutorials, relentlessly calls out someone joking within the rules for an entire on-stream minute and personally threatens to ban them - a total 0 to 100. Not the best streamer ettiquette. Chill out and let mods handle it. As a streamer you have a big platform and audience so try not to attack people if you can.

@@xombiemike I did. Unsubbed and everything. But sometimes I spend my time warning people. About streamers who do not properly consider their elevated position/podium in their rants (cant call it conversarion if 1-way) to audience members. And I spend time informing people about it when it happens. The awkward/confrontational stuff doesnt get to youtube so its worth 2 minutes of my time. Blind is not the only one. This message is for other passing readers. Don't bother.

Great tutorial. Looking forward to more from Blind and Kitfox. I wish that the ingame tutorial didn't tell people to dig down one level and start building your fortress. Have seen so many new players follow that and end up with holes in their ceiling because they chopped down a tree right over where they dug down. Also seems silly that the "cook with plump helmets" setting doesn't default to off rather than expecting every single player in every single save to go into that setting and change it to off themselves.

this nicely completes the ingame tutorial which does not cover some topics. nice job! I will look at the other videos from this channel, hopefully there is one on fish and refuse (referring to the mussel shells) and one for tools like dwarf therapist

Oh my god im so dumb iv been playing for months and never bothered making rock blocks before becuase i just assumed it was a block for engraving on or making somthing else specific out of, they should really actually rename regular rock blocks to bricks to better let you know their used for contruction 💀

I just started playing on the ASCII version since I can't afford the Steam version and I like it! It does require a PhD in Egyptian Hieroglyphics but it's part of my favorite games I like to call "Isometric Realism" which includes Project Zombiod

1:04 it's free but keep in mind you'll be playing on the ASCII version. You can also install other texture packs that the community has made.

so why shouldn't you have any barrels in your seed stockpile?

If I'm not mistaken seeds are better stored in bags then barrels, so that's why barrels should be turned off, but I don't remember why. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

Could be a new event at dwarf fortess, you could have this hero dwarf you can control like rpg character with special abilitys and gear sets could make a group for him, and if fort has tavern there could be travellers or heros that asks if you want to go on a dungeon could be random generated with some bosses and loot, where you go with team or go with hero, and few groupies and npc's that asks you to go there, like you could join their team, could be different kind of missions to go to, save village, take out baddies, maybe even help rebuild or guard something or find something Could be magic crystals like magicite, different kinds could store different spells/powers in em, could be ones that can be put on item that stregthens items or ability powers, like put in slots, different godly creatures could make different ones and some would spawn and be handed to heroes that does some great deeds, civilication leaders or warchiefs, commanders, high wizards, high druids, high priests, demo-gods, monsters would have em from pact/alliances or lucky finds? Monsters could have some master, maybe you can get em from dreams,rituals guiding to manifestations on earth that can forge/enchant em/create em or hand em from other spirit dimension, dream? Could have some way to enter these dimensions when go to meet or challenge some godly dudes would have their own kind of space they have their stuff/troops in and some dream-gate to get there, could also be past/future, like get to planet like it was created at start or end, could be all sorts of possibilitys or other planets/moons, could also have co-op where you explore em with friends if one finds em, get loot and fight against other players
