Confused-can you seperate and use the magnet at all times without having to move the puck manually?

Karlee, you are a great teacher. I have a Tiara with a stitch regulator and I just don't understand the cruise part. I will have to get out the book and read it again! I also noticed that you spinned the piece around. You cannot do that with a large quilt. How do you work with a larger piece? Does it sit in your lap? Does that cause drag?
