Getting Started with Incubators

I've got the styrofoam GQF incubator that I used for the duck eggs last year. Worked pretty well even hand turning. Some good info, Brad.

Question, if the Incubator has eggs setting would that cause issues for raising humidity if you doing both setting and hatching inside same incubator?

@@FarmerBrad Thank you, would it cause issues to increase humidity if there are also eggs being rotated and hatching? since normally 50% for turning egg and 70% hatching time for egg, so hopefully that now makes sense

@@FarmerBrad ok thank you since I was worried if i buy it that the eggs settling will have issues if i raise for the hatching

We are located just one county north of you and find it is not easy to hatch our eggs in just any incubator. What one do you recommend for better results?

Predator killed most of my hens. Chicks have become so expensive it just made since to get an incubator. Gatching eggs are abundant here if breed is unimportant.
