I find it very hard to load the film on the reel, but no problem with the Patterson Reel.. what's the trick?
@josewantland2 жыл бұрын
I like the fact that you can put two rolls of 120 back to back and one reel.

Excellent. Thank you.

Is there a sheet film tank for smalls as 2x3 using minimal solution?
@CineStillFilm4 ай бұрын
2x3 cut sheet film is quite a niche format, so unfortunately there aren't tanks available for them from JOBO. Thanks for keeping such a rare format alive, though!

What are the instructions for rotary processing using your Cs41 chemistry? I only see inversion instructions. 😢
@CineStillFilm Жыл бұрын
The inversion times that we list should work great for constant rotary agitation as well!

i use jobo tanks, the only drawback is that cost almost 6x times more than a regular tank, but in the end, the rotary processing + saving in chemistry sums up

Is it possible tu use the reels for film into the tanks 2500 series?
@slothsarecool Жыл бұрын
hmm the lid on the Jobo is questionable, just got mine but it’s easy to not snap it on all the way

Great story. I have the Jobo Tank 2553 #5 2523 #2 2508 Loading Guide 4x5

How odd. Just finished deving (18:03 14/07/2022) 5 rolls of 120 using my Jobo CPE-3. Great bit of kit and gives reliable processing. As its rotary processing, I drop massive dev times by 15% and get great results. The lift is a great asset and makes processing very easy. Still use my Patterson for single devs but for 5+ its Jobo all the way.

Any discounts for students ?
@kingericson Жыл бұрын
I would love to see how to work the CPE2+ should be properly used and maintained! The school lab I volunteer at has two that are collecting dust. I would love to revive them and perhaps help students develop color film!

Can I setup a 1520 and 2 1530’s to do 8 rolls of 35mm at once?
@CineStillFilm2 жыл бұрын
With a 1520 and 2 1530's, you'll be able to process 8 rolls of 35mm film or 10 rolls of 120.

In other words, I have to look elsewhere to develop the 4x5 sheet film from my view camera. Thanks for the warning.

I was thinking the same, but apparently they have a reel for that size, go to the CineStill link and look for Jobo 2509.
@CineStillFilm2 жыл бұрын
Hey there, we actually do offer the reels for processing sheet film with Jobo tanks. The link for that product is cinestillfilm.com/collections/laboratory-supplies/products/2500-series-2509n-uni-sheet-film-reel
