Man this was great! Thanks. I used to think LR stored my photos but now I know better. In the past, LR would automatically create a new catalogue anually and I'd lose my ability to re edit my old photos. I think this will solve my problem.

Great video thanks. If you are only using one collection, do you have to import all your older collections back in to LrC and re export them into the new one?

Informative. I never store exports in the Lightroom catalog folder. For me it creates a duplicate of what I already have. My exported photos are stored in Apple photos and Google Photos. I guess everyone has their personal preferences.
