Can the music be recorded and used as background for meditation recordings royalty free since the music will change depending on the plant?

That's what I was wondering, Idk how this device even work
@richardsmith9882 жыл бұрын
@@thestellarcorpse The device converts the chemical energy into electromagnetic resistance so this would vary based on the plant making it always different and all you would need is a Digital Voice Recorder (DVR) to record the result. They are showing a variety of canned converter programs that come with the unit. With an audio mixer program on your PC it would be easy to use this as a background loop. That is what appears to be going on from what I am seeing.

PlantWave is not fake-it’s a real device backed by science and technology that allows you to listen to the natural bioelectric rhythms of plants. Here’s a detailed explanation of how it works to clarify any doubts: Plants Produce Bioelectrical Signals: Plants naturally produce bioelectrical signals as part of their biological processes. These signals come from the flow of ions (charged particles) across cell membranes. This is similar to how nerves in humans transmit signals, but in plants, it occurs at a slower pace. Electrodes Detect Plant Activity: PlantWave uses small, non-invasive electrodes that are gently attached to the surface of a plant's leaves. These electrodes detect subtle variations in the plant's electrical conductivity. Factors like water content, temperature, and light exposure can influence these signals. Signal Processing: The electrical signals captured by the electrodes are usually too subtle for humans to perceive. PlantWave amplifies and processes these signals, turning them into measurable data that a computer or smartphone can interpret. Data Translated into MIDI: The processed data is converted into MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) signals. MIDI is a standard protocol that allows musical instruments and software to communicate. Music Generation: PlantWave assigns the MIDI signals to different musical notes and instruments. For example, one part of the plant’s signal might correspond to a piano sound, while another maps to a string instrument. These signals are used to generate soothing, ambient music in real time. Continuous Interaction with the Environment: As the plant responds to its environment-changes in light, touch, or water-the bioelectrical signals shift, resulting in dynamic, evolving music. This real-time interaction showcases the plant’s subtle responses to its surroundings. Why It’s Not Fake PlantWave doesn’t claim plants are "playing music" consciously-it’s a tool for translating natural electrical activity into something we can perceive. The underlying science is based on electrophysiology, a well-studied field that looks at how living organisms use bioelectricity. The music is an artistic interpretation of data, much like how fitness trackers interpret your heartbeat into graphs. If you’re skeptical, you can try the device yourself or read reviews and scientific discussions about it. People worldwide have successfully used PlantWave to connect with nature in a unique and creative way.

there appears to be no evidence that the plant is responding to anything . It is true that plants have emotion and feel pain however you should not have to hook anything up to cell phone and run it thru an app to pick up any real detection . If you could simply run it directly into the speaker box and turn up the volume and listen for any sounds that would be more realistic than running it through a program . There should be a video showing the pads being placed on a pair of table legs or chop sticks or coffee mug and not run thru any cell phone . Not everyone uses the unsmart phones which seems to be the norm for these kind of things . Try a demo video that talks about these issues or concerns . Thank you

Why do you insist we are listening to plants? Why don’t you state from the outset that the plant serves as a pulse generator, or a electrical trigger source? The sounds we hear are arbitrarily created within the app.
@PlantWave2 жыл бұрын
Sonification is a method of allowing a human to hear data from a system as music. Just like we look at the weather with a weather map, we listen to plants with a PlantWave.
@trukxelf2 жыл бұрын
@@PlantWave But the map is not the weather; its a representation.
@PlantWave2 жыл бұрын
Exactly
@trukxelf2 жыл бұрын
I'm simply surprised that by scrolling down the comment section, most think/assume they are hearing the biodata-but that's not what the biodata/electrical pulses sound like-we're hearing arbitrarily designed sound generation, which is triggered by the bio-data. So like the weather map with different colors chosen to represent levels of precipitation, the arbitrarily designed "musical" sounds (and I take it there's no atonal. distorted overdriven dissonant type choices) are NOT the bio data itself. Its akin to action-reaction; the musical sounds are designed to react to the bio data, correct?
@PlantWave2 жыл бұрын
Each note is a representation of a change in the pulse width of the signal we’re getting from the plant. You can learn more about data sonification and how we apply this practice to plants, here. www.plantwave.com/blog/is-plantwave-real-the-science-behind-plantwave
