Getting Started with Programming PIC 12F675

PIC12F675 is 8bit cheapest PIC IC with 6 GPIO pins, 4 channel 10 BIT ADC, 2 Timers .It has got 1k words of ROM & 256 Bytes of RAM.
PICKIT3 is the tool used to program the chip.
IDE used is MPLAB X and compiler is XC8

Thank you for the video. I'm new but is there a way to detach the pic3 device and set the machine code on the pic12 mocroprocessor itself. I'm thinking in terms of deploying producting and deploying a product, and not wanting to buy a pic3 programmer for every board that gets manufactured. Thanks again.

Well, first try, it went fine. Had a bunch of packs to u[pate, now it doesn't recognize TRISIO or GP4. The updates broke it. Using MPLABX 5.50. EDIT: Finally got it to compile by putting the include files in the project folder. Apparently with the path specified, it still cannot find them. Looks like MPLABX 6.0 has the same issue from some of the posts I saw.

Output is working fine, But digital input is not working Why? I tried so many time, One more thing to mention i have used universal programmer, i also disable analog and comparator mode. But nothing happened.

As far is I know, according to Ben Eaters videos, you need a special programmer to do that job for you.

BTW, why go for parallel I/0 EEPROM when you have serial interface eeproms like AT24C14?

PLEASE HELP: Sir, I could able to do this blinking program on PIC12F675. But the problem I am facing is when __delay(1000) function is called multiple times to create more delay, __delay(1000) is not giving 1 sec. delay i.e. when __delay(1000) is called 60 times (via for loop) to create 1 minutes delay, it's giving 45-50 sec. delay. Please guide me where is the problem???

@Anokhautomation I am using __delay_ms(1000); format only. Otherwise __delay(1000); function will give error.
