Some points I noticed you didn't mention (if you did I'm sorry) 1. Using the bronze sword while the levin sword is charging decreases the amount of time it takes for the levin sword to charge. 2. To activate the levin sword for aerials if the bronze sword was equipped before hand, you'll have to press the attack button and analog stick at the same time (so basically how you would normally do a smash attack). Levin nair can be activated with a + b if the controller settings have "attack + special = smash attack" on. 3. Levin down smash has a small hitbox behind Robin, and does two hits in the front, the initial sword and a small bolt that comes out from the tip of the sword, because of this, even if the opponent parries the sword, the bolt will knock them away, and can even potentionally kill. 4. Nosferatu puts Robin in freefall if used on an opponent mid-air. 5. Arcthunder does the most shield damage. 6. Killing an opponent makes the recovery time of Robin's items shorter. 7. The up throw does the least amount of knockback, so it is recommended not to use it, as a kill move at least. 8. When discarded, the levin sword and the tomes can hit the opponent if they're near, or they can be picked up, which can be thrown at an opponent, which could kill them at high percentages. (They're also pretty deadly as a gimping tool if you get the snipe) Edit: yikes how could I forget 9. Nosferatu heals more if used from behind the opponent. 10. Nosferatu heals more based on the ratio of Robin and the opponent’s percentages-for example, if Robin’s at 100% and the opponent’s at 0%, Nosferatu would heal 27% from the front and without mashing, but if both Robin and the opponent are at 100%, Nosferatu would only heal 10% also from the front and without mashing. (Side note: amount of damage done to the opponent is not affected) Edit: another yikes (thanks to Jonathan Backo for reminding me) 11. Just like a regular grab, the opponent will be able to mash out of Nosferatu. But still, pretty good guide for starting players :))

In terms of Nosferatu, I believe that Smash 4's Tips mentioned how it healed more if Robin had more % than his opponent, and/or from using it from behind, so I was surprised to see that Smash Ultimate's Tips do not mention that. It made me think those were no longer features of Nosferatu at first. Still, I did not know about the opponent being able to mash out of it. It always felt like they were stuck in it for a constant amount of time.

How do you switch between bronze and Levin?

1. When the levin sword gets charged, it will automatically be activated. 2. Tilts and the jab always use the bronze sword. 3. When the levin sword is available, smash attacks will always use the levin sword, otherwise, the bronze sword will be used. 4. If the levin sword is the one in Robin's hand, aerials will use the levin sword. 5. If the bronze sword is the one in Robin's hand and you'd like to use the levin aerials instead, you can automatically activate it by pressing the analog stick and the attack button at the same time (so basically how you would normally do a smash attack). Levin nair can be automatically activated with a + b if in the controller settings "attack + special = smash attack" is on.

To drop an item in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate you just have to press your grab button, which by default should be R, or Z on a Gamecube controller. This will just chuck the item to the side, usually with no consequences. But what about throwing it? If the item is effective as a throwing item, it often just requires you to hit A. Hope this helps :)

You cant drop a tome manually, you must run out of uses first, then when you drop it you can immediately jump back and grab it with a back air, if you need a tome for a setup, the best you can do is spam Nosferatu

So I'm a decent smash player but am the best out of the group of friends I play with. I have a buddy that only plays cloud and ended up becoming very good with cloud and started to win against me. I play a variety of different characters well because I enjoy playing different characters and having options to counter certain characters . So finally I tried Robin and he his cloud could not handle me... until he learned how to exploit my arc fire and my playstyle. Cloud is very op and cheap in my opinion . Can you make a Robin video on how to beat cloud. He also constantly shoots the wave and charges his power meter but he is really good at keeping distance and throwing unpredictable sword waves. I cant catch him with arc fire much because he doesn't charge in anymore he waits until I cast then charges . It's just so cheap. Is there any other characters than can exploit clouds cheap speed giant hit box and his ranged wave attack? I'm definitely the more superior player he just is playing a character I just cant figure out how to counter .
