Yes, absolutely. You define the pins used and listen to an interrupt signal sent through those two pins. On interrupt you'll trigger the code you want to run and thats it. Do you want it to be a bit more powerful you could set it up as an I2C device, that way you can do theoretically 10-50 different devices on just 4 pins (2 data, one power and one ground). Adafruit has tons of projects like these and i dont think it would be too hard to change the code to work with a seeed.
