这个mesh组网我刚知道原来可以在同级下搭建，就是mesh主路由的2.5G/WAN口插在上级路由器或者交换机的LAN口，其余的MESH子路由也可以插在这个上级路由器或者交换机同级的LAN口，这样就能发挥一个2.5G口的优势了，最大提升局域网带宽。上级如果有路由器的话，mesh主路由的模式设置成中继模式比较好。

It's 6nm chip from Midiatek that is WiFi 7. I think this BE5000 uses the Filogic 380.

@@ChronoSphinx apart from the settings being in Chinese (you can translate it automatically using chrome browser) it's perfect, the image is very sharp using airlink with meta quest 3

Does a Chinese market BE5000 router work ok in Europe?

I have a BE7000 and 2 BE3600 working in mesh in Europe, works brilliantly well. Mind you setup can be a little daunting at first due to the firmware being in chinese but you can use a browser to translate and Mi Home app to setup and manage the devices.

@@IsamuDysonthanks for the info! When you use Mi Home app are the settings available in English? Do you know if the router can be configured when the mi home app is connected to EU server or does it have to be set to mainland china server? I have used that app in that way before and it becomes super laggy, but I guess I will find out when my order arrives anyway. Just trying to research ahead of time 😊

xiaomi should not be bought in reaction to the firm shutting down everything in software. Even simple 802.1Q vlanid is not turned on in the PPPOE settings.
