I must say, I'm surprised at how helpful the photos alongside tasting notes are. I have not seen those on your videos before, but I've mostly been watching older ones so far. Hope this idea continued. Never knew folks were aging white tea, may have to give this a try.

@MeiLeaf - Don - Would you recommend keeping the cakes in their wrappers and artwork as-received for aging (inside an airtight container with a humidity packet), or should any of the wrappers be removed? Didn’t see the answer to this in your other video where you concluded the 60-65% packets were best. BTW, I’m in very-dry Denver, CO USA. Thanks!

Can anyone remember or point me to the videos made about using the Boveda packets for storing/aging tea again. I'll be moving to a bit more humid of an environment soon, and want to refresh myself on which ones were best to use. And the best way to store tea with them.

@MeiLeaf2 жыл бұрын
If you are referring to Anji Bai Cha then this is actually a Green tea. I have made a video about this tea: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJPIkIedZrqsm5I Similar green worth trying are: Monkey Picked: meileaf.com/p/tea-mkpc/ Fur Peak: meileaf.com/tea/fur-peak/ Also you could try Yellow Tea: meileaf.com/teas/yellow/ White Teas are a very different taste - maybe pick up some White Peony as a relatively affordable dip into White tea and graba sample of Simple Dreams for a more aged taste. meileaf.com/teas/white/

This sounds right up my street! Is it available in your Camden shop now? Finally got to visit a few days ago, it's my first time back in England since I was six or seven years old, and you always prompt me to pop in at the end of your videos; how could I not! Really pleasant welcome from the staff, took my time savouring Young Gushu '22 and picked up your dong ding and yunnan '96 shu pu'er tuo on my way out. I may be back tomorrow to try Simple Dreams if I don't melt on the way there!

Fair enough - we are planning to make this a series with other drawings of children (not just our daughter). The theme is dreamy and intriguing yet pure and simple to match the tea.
