Hi, you could also use the high beam feed to trigger your light bar relay rather than a separate switch. Would make it easier when someone was coming the other way as the light bar would turn off when you dipped the headlights.

It would have to stay on a switch cos legally that’s not allowed it would also not mass a mot . But it could be done thst way and also off a switch as well so it could be totaly disconnected

@@UrbanVanlife It's fine legally, and I've just passed my 3rd MOT with a roof lightbar and Lazer lights in the grille triggered by the high beam switch. As long as you have no auxilliary lights on with dipped beam.

I beleive in Doug!!! I been thinking about that phone wire, If I remaember corectly there was a cable verry close to phone wire that was used for security cameras as one point in time. and where it was runnign to and from it seams like that makes somce sence

The lithium battery is outside of the cabin, if is cheap as You mentioned, then doesn’t have its own heater built in. How the battery will be charged, when the temperature will drop below zero?

Well if you think when we are on the move you have the heat of the engine in a small space heating up the area so the battery won’t be below zero

I wish you both the very best and hope you have a fab time. I have just checked out some information on the battery you have which you may want to address? If the cells fall below 0 degrees the bms may stop the battery from charging, if it doesnt the cells can become damaged due to the cold conditions. Ive had the same issue with my lithium battery, the batterry will work below 0 degrees, but wont charge. So ive made a heated blanket to warm the battery cells slowly so i am able to keep charging the battery in cold. Q: Can I charge GoKWh 12V & 24V Series LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)? A: GoKWh 12V & 24V Series LiFePO4 batteries can safely charge between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C). Please note that the 12V 100Ah version does not include low-temperature charging protection function I hope this maybe helpful. Loving the videos🖖👍
