Hey there from the Oil Patch in Central Wyoming y'all!! I'd choose the same Turkey Wire you use for your perimeter fencing, as the 'ceiling' material: it'd need a few more 6x6's in the middle for support, but it'd last for near two decades before you'd need to replace it. Further, though initially cost outlay would probably require about half a fifth of good bourbon to calm down after paying for everything, but I'd seriously consider buying a 2,000 or 3,000 gallon propane tank to install. You could 'carriage' it to be 'mobile', or buy a good used 'refill' Propane Truck with up to a 5,000-8,000 lbs capacity, and simply drive it onto and off of the transport vessel every 3-5 YEARS for a refill. Neither of you are getting any younger, and after all the injuries and health issues you've had, with each passing year, your bodies will complain ever moreso. Further, with the larger tank, you could move up to a bigger Cummins, or Deutz, other quality heavy duty generator 8k-12k sustained use. Yeah, I know I'm talking big dollars, but the fact is that you two have invested so much time, money, hard work, love, blood, sweat and tears into your place, you should be able to stay there until your late 70's before having to consider moving to Juneau for easier living. I'm still having to hitchhike and get rides from neighbors, but I'm on SSI after injuring my spine last May. Haven't been able to work since then, sold 80% of what I had left to sell, and had only $20 in the bank, when the first SSI check showed up. Couldn't get a ride to town (or didn't feel good enough to go, until end of the first week of February, when the second SSI check showed up: wasn't sure if one would), so was finally able to deposit both last week. Anywho, whenever I can get a ride to town again, I'll finally be able to buy some cat litter...had none for nearly 3 months now...hand scooping using CC dustpans and scoops. Got a Medicare card with the first check, so after I get paperwork to protect my house, I hope to see a heart doc again, maybe a spinal doc to I hope. Furry kids ( all 24 of them ) now have reg food, and are doing well....I hear a LOT of 'No's' online when I ask if anyone needs a kitty....praise God for the SSI checks and Sam's Club (they ship kitty food to my house). Good to see your furry kids are doing well, and both of you are good. I'd still recommend you get some Silver Applyard ducks this year, they lay year round and the eggs are bigger and better! Take care both of you! Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central Wyoming

Your trips to town are so fun. Glad you could spend Moms birthday with her. Its crazy to think spring will be here in 37 days!! We have had an unusual winter in Minnesota, not much snow and warmer temperatures. Looks like your snow is mostly gone. I love your Iraqi prayer stone, thank you for your service Brian. From one veteran to another, thank you for your service. I was in VN in 65-66. Seems like any of the galvanized chicken wire would melt in your atmosphere. Your deer netting is inexpensive, won't melt, light weight, just vulnerable to snow load., Maybe install some tactical cordage rafters on the open spans. Bless you folks.

I was in Iraq on Camp Anaconda (JBB Balad) in '07 and again in 2011 as a private contractor. I had Iraqi money and Kuwait money, and other odds and ends. All of it got burned in a house fire we had in 2017. I went 6 weeks without seeing a cloud, that's 42 days. When I DID see a cloud, it rained mud, no joke.

I noticed at above your entrance to your shelter for equipment, that there was some rips in the tent and I was thinking if you had more canvas or like material you could glue a wide enough material to stop the rips from going any further. If you did it before the tears get longer, it would be a very cheap fix .

I’m not a KZbin expert but water in the fuel can be caused by the ethanol in the fuel, this can happen in days try using fuel conditioner every fill up. This is a costly addition but will save on down time. You want to treat your fuel supply this way you don’t forget when you’re done with your work when you’re exhausted and procrastinating till the next day never happens.
