I was really looking forward to learning about how these refers work. Only time I been to Alaska is when our boat pulled in and we needed supplies. Forgot where we pulled in but it was only for less then a day, then we were back out on patrol. I hear you about the ears, I got to wear those hearing aids and hate those buggers in my ears.

If you were starving, could you eat those crab you threw back? They allow deer and other wild game taken for starvation purpose in some areas, and i think Alaska is one of those.

As this is starting I'm wondering how the hell are they gonna drag 200 salmon back out the way they came in. I've been thinking about cast netting salmon for 30-yrs.

You have an unlimited heat source, warm them up the light is good. Use you local energy to help them get warmer if you want food. Convert you locat carbon products to food.

480 watts for a little under 500 dollars especially for Alaska prices is a really good deal. The solar guy really knew his stuff. Strong pannels.

What do people use to advertise cabin or house rentals. Do you know of any place with cabin rentals for around 400 to 500 a month in the fairbanks area? I only ask because some only get retirement checks or live off SSI. Im just wondering if its possible for people like that to find a rental in Alaska or if they get priced out and forced to move

Oh man! I was really counting on Eddy to give us a step-by-step guide on building a power bank for a solar array, because who doesn't want unlimited solar energy during Alaska's six-month night?

That’s one big power bank😂

$500 for a 480w panel. Please run and phone signature solar. 460w for 177.00, did he mention vertical mounting? snow won't stick and with snow on the ground you get a big boost. The solar dealer I bought from has a $16k USD system, 10kw 240V x2 5kw each, 60kw battery good to -30c, 12900w of solar.

When traveling overseas when asked where I live , I answer " Alaska" and you would be amazed at how many people don't know that Alaska is also USA ..If you are in a part of the world that frowns on aspects of US foreign policy, it can be very useful.
