I have an extremely fine chain. I used his technique with 2 needles, and the knot easily came out (after I struggled with it before going to the internet!). The phrase that helped me was "use the pins as if they were your hands." Thank you for posting this.

I have seriously been struggling with not one but two fine necklaces with knots in them and after watching this video I got both knots out in less than a minute. I was trying with one safety pin before, and the tip to "use two like little hands" worked so well! Thank you very much for posting this video!!!

This technique worked perfectly on a very fine chain which was knotted. I assisted my BF in doing it. I think 2 people working on this was an advantage. Also, we used a magnifying glass. Thank you!

I had a knot in my necklace and I you tube it and watched this video. Low and behold it worked perfectly. Got a paper clip and opened the paper clip so you could get the point you need. It worked in minutes. Great help thank you

Also, My necklace was a small gold chain with a gold angel wing charm that had YPA on the back of the wing (It stands for you precious angel.. YPA)

+Clover Violet I felt the same way, I had a muuuch thinner chain, a much smaller knot, that looked like it had no center. what helped me was laying it down, and then using the "picking apart" technique he uses around 1:10 to just seperate the knot a little bit so maybe u can see how the knot it made, and then hpefully undo it.

Yes! I have gotten it out.. I used lots of vegetable oil! It made my hands greasy, but I was happy to get it out.

Multiwabbit mee get baby powder and put a little in a bag, put the necklace in, shake it, take it out, and he knots will come out easier (because the powder gets in between the chains)

I’m shocked this worked. Mine had a huge, very tight jumble of knots. It took about 10 minutes of working it apart but it worked. I used two push pins.
