I finally made the leap to purchasing the FenixSim A320. I flew an event into Texas yesterday on VATSIM. The only thing I kept saying to myself is "why didn't I purchase it sooner". I'll have to go back thru your videos for any tutorials you may have posted. As always, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I am aware of the brake changes in the Fenix...but is anyone else experiencing the brakes activating like an on/off switch? I'm using the Thrustmaster TCA Pedals and for half of the movement nothing happens then suddenly the brakes apply fairly sharply. Have not had any issues with the PMDG 737 or ToLiss in XP12. They were fine in the older version (except the unrealistically low brake temps)

Im having the exact same problem. It helps if you first test the brakes and use then before you are moving.

@@DarkAndVelvetNights I do a full pedal movement and sidestick movement once the aircraft loads. Basically like doing the flight control check but just for making sure hardware is working. Still have the brakes acting like a switch and also for the sidestick there is slight lag from hardware movement to aircraft sidestick movement

@@tomstravels520 Yeah i think we have the same problem.

I noticed the same, it seems to be an issue with certain pedals, a potential fix is to create a new profile in msfs, but didnt work for me. So iconfigured my pedals via spad next and now they work smooth from 0 to 100. a gamechanger. Search the msfs forums, there are some threads about that issue

The very “hot” topic. I see what you did there 😂. Great video thank you as always

Could you do a video where you explain how to decide the extra fuel?

This is one of the better videos as of late! Lots of super cool insight

Thanks for the interesting video. Could you make a video about the offset function in the MCDU? How and when is it used?
@Jannik_Stein10 ай бұрын
How is it used? Well, jst put a number in there. When is it used? When ATC tells you to do. That's basically all you need to know:)

Thanks for Great video , But if takeoff from intersection give me little bit lower flex temp then i use full lengths or use intersection?

Can you do a tutorial of single engine procedures?
@jeffcupido411010 ай бұрын
The engines seem powerful enough to move the aircraft, maintain 25 knots, and even continued acceleration all while in idle during taxi. I am finding myself braking often just to slow it down while taxi in idle thrust. Is this normal behavior for the airbus or a sim issue? Seems worst after a flight at the destination airport
@Gonzy25210 ай бұрын
This is normal behaviour on the IAE engines.
@WestAirAviation10 ай бұрын
If you go to pilot forums like Pprune, you'll see the same complaint made about the real aircraft. Lots of people complain about the "high idle" on the IAE's compared to most every other transport category aircraft.

I set mine high so that I get there quicker and thus use less power in real world.

I member there was smthn about the airbus often mistaking the optimal cruise altitude by around 2000 feet or so ? Is that a thing in the fenix ?
@ILDVCE10 ай бұрын
yes, the Thales MCDU is very conservative, many airlines use software to calculate the actual optimum and max cruise level
