I’m fairly certain he places benimaru down because of the cost difference him & rengoku being that rengoku is 50 dollars higher, but it might also be upgrade cost difference between the units and him js thinking he won’t be able to upgrade rengoku that much without dying since that unit would still need help damaging those enemies due to high Hp pool. I’m not expert on this game and my guess could be wrong, but this is what I’m assuming he’s doing 😭
