Don't need the biggest shop or the best tools to do incredible work. Gets you started on projects again. Can always upgrade to better things in the future. Looking forward to watching future videos you make.

Everything looks awesome! When time for a vice upgrade comes, look into fireball tool. & throw some hooks on the wall or on the side of the shelf for those welding cords.
@JohnLudwick3 жыл бұрын
Yea man, there’s so much more to do. Still sorting out layout, pegboard and hooks are going up, more lighting etc etc. Choosing a workstation layout has been far harder than expected haha

Hi man, i'm from France and i just discover you and your channel with your videos on the mk2f polo coupe cause i own the previous gen, the mk2 from 89, also in coupe. And i send you all the love from here. I hope you gonna continue and succeed in your project like this garage and this youtube channel. Keep up the great work, you have to start somewhere, everyone start from the bottom and you're doing great. See ya !

The garage is coming together smoothly. Harbor freight comes in handy every now and then! The new badge looks way better than the husky!

Late to the party, but i had to say that even thought Harbor freight has some stuff people shy away from… I have tools from JF that are going on 15 years old and never once given me trouble and I have craftsman and Dewalt tools that has crapped out on me in less than 5 years. If you’re not beating on the tools day in and day out… don’t be afraid of them.

You should take off the handle on the toolbox so you can push it closer to the compressor. That way it doesn't stick out from the wall.

Good eyes! I don’t think I’m keeping the box there, and even there temporarily, it’s bothered me not being flush with the wall, but it’s ultimately getting moved haha

If u were to take on customer builds, you’d be inundated with work. You may not like it but, slow and steady wins the race… and pays the bills 😉

Those Bauer grinders aren’t as junky as you’d think. I work at a custom fab shop and use the shit out of my Bauer $25 grinder all day long never had any issues

What are you selling from this shop?
@adamwade6183 Жыл бұрын

@sjm981263 жыл бұрын
return that belt sander. i bought it a while back and it barely had enough power to sharpen my tungstens on. if you actually try to grind on it, and like remove any real material from a piece, you just stall out the belt. the motor on it is lame, and it had like plastic drive rollers and stuff. it also moves at a pretty slow speed so it eats the belts up pretty fast. you can find used industrial grade belt grinders pretty cheap from time to time. also when you're ready to start tig welding, if you want, ill send you a copy of my book Tig welding secrets, 10k+ copies sold on amazon, you'll be laying dimes down in literally no time.

I bet if logo said Snap-on it'd been fine. It's a social indoctrination that made you have an issue with the logo. You've been told, read, and seen that if it's not Snap-on, it's not a good product, especially from an mechanical standpoint. Its sublimable, you didn’t know why. That was the textbook definition. But I do like yours better.
