Yay for tuques! 😂👍 Adelina, you are soooooooo right re blue skies! I grew up in the Montreal area, bitter cold, lots of snow but blue skies and sunshine made such a difference! I live in Belgium now and the winters, whilst mild and rarely below freezing, are grey, rainy and utterly miserable! 😭

I really enjoy your tiny house videos as well as your other channel "A Little Bit About A Lot Of Things". Watching your videos is, for me, like sitting down for a bit to talk with a good neighbor and relax with a cup of coffee and some good conversation. I like your down to earth discussions and pleasant voice, and of course, your smiles. You motivate me stay busy and grounded when it is all too easy to just sit and fall down the "rabbit hole" of depressing news and feelings of futility about the future. Thank you for your hard work on your vlogs and allowing us all to tag along on your projects and adventures!

“A goal without a plan is just wishful thinking.” Absolutely true! Twice in our lives hubby and I have had a goal, made very long, detailed plans, worked our tails off, and succeeded in changing our lives. Twice we’ve sold our home and most of our possessions to have adventures, once on a boat and once in an Class C RV. However, “wherever you go, there you are” is also a fact of life. My anxiety got the best of me on the boat so we had to end that adventure after a couple of years to instead travel in a minivan with just a backpacking tent. Then while full time RVing, cancer reared its ugly head and made us set up a home base again. Mind and body always have to be cared for wherever you go. But the adventures were so worth it! “Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life” by

When I have chosen Canada for my new country to live, I have decided to settle in Ontario. I was in love when I first visited the province in 2000. Blue sky, sun shine in winter time! I was coming from Germany Nordrhein-Westfalen Wuppertal (rainy 320 day in a year hahahaha). After so many years, climate has changed so much that we are having a lot of rainy days even in summer time, and very grey sky in winter time. I have been in Alberta Calgary, Yukon Whitehorse in winter time. Yes, definitely colder than Burlington ONTARIO, however so much beautiful scenery have just wiped out the coldest nights I have ever experienced. I really like your content and videos.

Adelina coming out from storage area: It’s cold out here. Holy Shiite!! If you do ever want to prevent mice from getting under your house or worse yet under your van hood where they chew the wires, put multiple cotton balls soaked a bit with 100% peppermint pure essential oil in storage area & under hood. Do your research as you always do bc idk if you can drive van w/cotton balls under hood. I think you just put them there when you’re parked; good to take on camping trips too. Chipmunks are not nearly as easy to get rid of not that you mentioned them. If you ever get mice in house you know Sophie will gift them to you. Lol I’d move the umbrella to the storage area in case of high winds bc that will become a projectile I think. Correct me if I’m wrong. When you were testing the propane detector the look on your fearful face re: Sophie’s potential reaction was priceless. And when she did that sweet meowing when you did the other detector & you went & loved her up, well that was another priceless moment. Keaton must be thrilled to have your Toyota. I noticed the van behind it & wondered if you were using the van as your daily driver. Fantastic. No snow here yet but the cold is. Hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself by saying there’s no snow. We’ll see. Haha. Hugs🤗✌🏼💛

Don't know if this would be a problem in the cold but thought I'd mention it just in case you weren't aware of it. Poor Sophie - the sound from the smoke detector test probably really hurts her ears - I think I'd have put her outside in the car or the van while you did that.
