Socks it name MEMBRANE. You can't lose. After you cast it if you are not going to build same time. Get it and put it up there. If you plan to slab the top of the room you are going to build on top. Socks the workmen don't know what them talking bout. Casting it over will result in the same thing sooner or later. To fix this you have to either sloap the roof to gelp water eun off or cast the roof with a damp proof membrane beneath it. You can also start build upstairs and zinc the roof when you finish. If not, you just wasting your money amd the damp will come right back

Too much water coming off the balcony that Jbud rest on your roof. Perhaps put a gutter at the edge of the balcony to take off the excess water. The damp is not good for you. It will lead to pneumonia and other respiratory illnesses.

Don’t use zinc. That’s primitive. You just need a slight layer to run off any water from the roof. When you build your room on top remember to have them slant the roof and use waterproof insulation and paint.

What you talking about zinc primitive. I love overseas and zinc roof is the in thing now and it's coated so it doesn't rust. I'm loving mine going on 10 years
