Getting the wind knocked out of you

One time when I was playing baseball this kid came up to me and just threw a ball at my stomach really hard it was like I was dying but the kid soonly got ejected and banned from the league my coach was super helpful in the process of getting the wind knocked out of me he did something to help me breathe better but I can still feel the bruise today.
